“The Kerala Story” Streams on ZEE5 This February

Mumbai, February 6, 2024: The controversial film “The Kerala Story,” released in May 2023, has become a box office success, grossing a whopping Rs 302 crore worldwide. Despite initial challenges securing an OTT platform, the film has finally found its home on ZEE5, where it will begin streaming on February 16th in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages.

Directed by Sudipto Sen and starring Adah Sharma, “The Kerala Story” sparked debate around its sensitive subject matter: the alleged brainwashing and recruitment of young women in Kerala for terrorist organizations. While generating criticism from some circles, the film resonated with audiences, propelling it to box office dominance.
